Ricky Crisler is a member of the New Orleans office of Bradley Murchison. A native of New Orleans, he graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University in 1999, earning a B.B.A. in economics and a minor in history. While at Loyola, he was a four-year letterman on the Wolfpack baseball team. He received both the Loyola Scholar Athlete Award and the Loyola Economics Award, honoring the outstanding graduate in economics.

Mr. Crisler received his Juris Doctorate from the Columbia University School of Law in 2002. While at Columbia, he was twice named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and was an active member of the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Society.

Mr. Crisler is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Mr. Crisler has practiced primarily in the health care field, representing physicians, hospitals and other health care providers in medical malpractice claims, EMTALA disputes, premises liability claims, and board investigations.

His current practice focus includes the defense of medical malpractice claims as well as casualty and commercial litigation. In addition to his health care clients, Mr. Crisler has successfully represented an international sanitary manufacturer in a products liability lawsuit, a national bank in post-Katrina litigation, and an international shipping company based in New Orleans on a variety of issues.

In addition to multiple jury trial victories in Jefferson Parish, he has successfully defended claims in St. Tammany Parish, Calcasieu Parish, Acadia Parish and in federal district court for the Western District of Louisiana.
