Natalie J. Dekaris is an associate in the New Orleans office, where she enjoys a diverse practice including litigation, arbitration and transactional work. Ms. Dekaris practices in the areas of general corporate representation, securities litigation, construction contracts and litigation, business litigation, energy and natural resources, professional liability, products liability, mass tort litigation, health care law, and casualty litigation.

Ms. Dekaris has experience representing clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings under the Federal Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR). She also represents clients in the formation and negotiation of commercial agreements, construction agreements, and natural gas contracts, including master services agreements for pipeline construction and related services. In addition, Ms. Dekaris has experience in title examination in various parishes on behalf of major companies and independent producers.

Ms. Dekaris also has extensive medical malpractice experience, including medical review panel proceedings, litigation, and appeals. This practice includes representing healthcare facilities, including Political Subdivision - Hospital Service Districts, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, physical therapists and emergency medical technicians in a wide variety of cases including those involving psychiatric care, patient transport, patient supervision, emergency medicine, blood borne pathogens, Prenatal, Labor and Delivery complications, EMTALA, medical products liability, and chronic narcotic pain management.

Ms. Dekaris also has experience defending toxic tort, products liability and occupational exposure litigation.
