Stephen C. Fortson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on August 30, 1975. Mr. Fortson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University, summa cum laude, in 1998 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2001. He was a law clerk to U.S. District Judge, Tom Stagg, and to First Judicial District Judge, Jeanette G. Garrett. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State of Texas Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Shreveport Bar Association. He was admitted to practice in the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Mr. Fortson's area of practice is business litigation.
