Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea was formed in February, 2009 by a group of lawyers who had practiced together for many years in a large, well established law firm. Nine partners from the Shreveport office and eight from the New Orleans office of the firm, many listed in The Best Lawyers in America ® and Super Lawyers ®, most with AV ® ratings, found common ground in our dedication to high standards of professionalism and in the quality of service we deliver to our clients. The partners of Bradley Murchison founded the firm in order to establish a work environment that promotes:
Teamwork among our lawyers that ensures the highest quality service possible for our clients. Collaboration is not only the key to providing our clients with the highest standard of legal work and customer service we can offer, but is also a critical part of our open door culture. No matter the title - partner, associate, paralegal or support staff - each member of our team is invited and expected to be an important part of our work, and in the end to share in our success.
Growth and development of young lawyers and a firm with long term sustainability to protect their future. We see the future in our young attorneys. Our associates have autonomous access to everything the firm has to offer, coupled with the guidance of our experienced attorneys to help them on their path to success. The growth and development of our young attorneys ensures that the future of the firm is in the hands of those who understand how we can make a difference to our clients, and offers long-term sustainability for our attorneys and clients alike. We're investing in our future and our clients' future - and together our future is bright.
Policies that create an incentive to properly staff projects for the good of our clients and our lawyers. Many law firms implement policies to ensure attorneys work a certain amount of hours each year. Others use policies to make sure the kitchen stays clean. Don't get us wrong, we like a clean kitchen as much as anyone, but our firm policies are in place for a different reason. Our policies exist to provide clients with the highest standard of legal work in the most efficient manner possible. We staff our firm and each individual client's work with care, making what can be a difficult legal issue a better experience for everyone.
A respect and care for our staff that results in improved responsiveness to our clients. Trust is a value that once gained, is to be protected at all costs. At Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea, we pride ourselves on maintaining an atmosphere of trust and ensuring that the trust we have built is never compromised: trust among our attorneys, our staff, and most importantly our clients. It's at the core of our culture and is critical to building working relationships that can withstand even the most challenging times.
Participation in and contribution to the communities in which we live and practice. Our local communities help define who we are - strong, honest, hard-working and fun to be around. With offices in Shreveport, New Orleans and Baton Rouge, participation in community events is essential to being active corporate citizens and helps guide us in our pursuit of outstanding service to our clients. We are only as strong as our communities, and that strength is unbreakable.
Focus on providing the best client service to clients throughout Louisiana. Calling north, central and south Louisiana home is key to maintaining a balanced presence throughout our region. While the cultures and industries in our state may vary by location, one thing remains the same - each client will have access to the full resources of our firm and its many practices to help if and when a legal issue arises.
Since the firm began in 2009 with offices in North and South Louisiana, client needs in the state's capital have steadily grown, resulting in an office expansion into Baton Rouge in January 2013.
